"Leave Her Alone!"

The list of the high and mighty who have been recently named in sexual harassment charges is stunning. From politicians to entertainers to media icons—it seems America now awakens each day with some new hitherto undisclosed revelation or charge of sexual abuse or harassment. Women victims, who have long been shamed or cowed into submission and silence by powerful male perpetrators, have found new voice and courage to speak out. And men, who once lived with wanton disregard for the women they mistreated with sexual abandon, now stand before the court of public opinion, their sexual libidos in full display. Even the secular press now touts sexual accountability, justice, and morality.

Feast of Lights

All are invited to attend the 45th annual Feast of Lights program presented by the Andrews Academy department of music. This spectacular night will be filled with music, Scripture, and drama honoring the King of Kings. Enjoy lights, bells, instruments, choral and congregational singing, a Nativity scene, and the retelling of a glorious Christmas story. Portions of Vivaldi's Gloria as well as Handel's Hallelujah chorus will be performed, along with many other familiar carols.

Directory Photos

For those who wish to appear in the Pioneer Pictorial Directory and did not have a picture taken by the LifeTouch photographers, you can still be included!

The photo (with everyone in the photo identified) must be dropped off at the church office or e-mailed to nowack@andrews.edu. The photo must be accompanied (even if emailed) by a release form (if the picture is commercially produced). Each picture to be added to the directory must be also accompanied by $10. Please make your checks out to "Lifetouch." The deadline for submission of all three items: photo, photo release, and $10 fee is Monday, December 4, 2017. All three items must be submitted for the picture to be included in the directory.

Help us make this directory complete. It won't be the same without you! We want to make this a complete representation of our church family. We invite you to be a part of it.
