Wotton Area Mutual Aid Volunteer Newsletter WAMA VOLUNTEER NEWSLETTER #3We know that many people will look to family and friends for assistance during the Covid-19 outbreak, and Wotton Area Mutual Aid group is here to make sure that no one is left alone, by connecting people in need, with volunteers who are available to help out General Info If you are a new volunteer, you can access our first 2 newsletters on our facebook page. Please remember to continue to monitor the "request for help" spreadsheet to see if your neighbours need anything. It is also important to mark any jobs as "complete" once they are finished so we can remove them from the spreadsheet. Soup! The free soup trial went really well last week. It will run again Wednesday and Thursday this week. If people would like soup, they can call Wotton Baptist Church on 01453 844726 between 9 a.m -12 These delivery jobs will then go onto our volunteer spreadsheet. Thanks to those of you who delivered last week. Please do spread the word. Prescriptions As our processes are developing, we realise that we need a dedicated prescription collection team who work together to make sure nothing is missed and to keep information sharing to a minimum. If you know of someone who needs their prescriptions delivered, please ask them to complete our prescription collection form (linked from the normal request for help form). This won't appear on the normal volunteer spreadsheet, so don't worry.
Map of local Delivery Services We have put together a map showing food and grocery businesses still operating currently in the local area.
