Welcome to the September edition of Evolve

Dear Coaches and Officials

I would like to take this opportunity to thank members for their very warm welcome and strong show of support. I’ve already had the pleasure of engaging many of our State and National committees and have met a large number of our dedicated Officials operating in the field.

The Education Team has been working extremely hard researching the wide variety of educational opportunities and delivery processes currently operating within the sport and has already been proactively engaging many of our stakeholders for their thoughts on those topics.

With this in mind, our plan is to create a comprehensive list of upcoming educational opportunities that will be included in future editions of  Evolve.

Calling all EA coaches

The new model allows coaches to set  their own lesson prices and rather than provide set lesson plans, the program now centres on participants achieving specific skill outcomes, giving coaches the freedom to run the program to suit their business, or even integrate it into their existing beginner programs.  Read more about how Ready Set Trot now benefits coaches HERE Facebook Like Button Tweet Button

Horses in training frequently require large grain meals to provide energy for performance. Results of this study indicate that feeding a protected sodium bicarbonate product (KERx EquiShureâ„¢) to horses on high-grain diets can attenuate the pH shifts that lead to hindgut acidosis.
