Province reveals framework for re-opening Ontario’s economy This afternoon, Ontario Premier Doug Ford unveiled the Province’s roadmap to gradually reopen the economy once the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. The announcement outlined a phased approach that will see specific sectors of the economy, and specific community activities, opened incrementally in order to prevent a resurgence in community cases of the virus. Niagara Region is assessing how this plan will affect our operations in the coming months. More details are available on the Province’s website. Mental health resources available on Vine The past several weeks have introduced unprecedented levels of change for Regional employees, both at home, and at work. Staff may be experiencing heightened feelings of stress, anxiety or other mental health concerns.
