Please read through for important updates, deadlines, funding opportunities and other essential information. A Message from the Senior TutorYou may be concerned about the changes in the Government COVID policy and what this means for life in College. With the cooperation of Public Health England, the Colleges and University have drawn up a set of guidelines to continue teaching, keep libraries and labs open, and provide other educational opportunities and support students’ well-being. As of today the Bar and Gym are closed, but the Cafeteria and Coffee Bar are open. College study spaces (including the library, clubroom, OCR, marquees) are open but with care to ensure that social distancing is maintained between households and with somewhat tighter face-covering measures. The gardens are there for fresh air and exercise, although many team sports may not be able to continue (we are still awaiting guidelines on sport). We will also be making some changes to visitors' policies (to be announced today). The key message is this: Wolfson remains open. Please come along to a virtual town meeting You will have the opportunity to ask questions of the President, the Bursar, the Domestic Bursar and myself. We will record the session. As always, if you have concerns about your current situation, please contact your College Tutor in the first instance. Welfare & Wellbeing![]() A message from the nurse, Sally Macallum, and University of Cambridge SportWith the latest restrictions coming into effect from tomorrow, closing both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, staying active is harder than usual but as important as ever. All the activity suggestions shared within the group will be designed to be completed from your home and local area, including activities such as Yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, nutrition advice and more. You can access the Facebook group here. Further advice on staying active will be published on our website and social media channels. Follow us at @camunisport on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
