New! Redland Writes Writers' Workshops

Redland Writes is a FREE monthly series of workshops for aspiring writers. Develop your skills and learn tips and tricks, in a variety of genres, from industry professionals every month at Capalaba Library. 

 

May Workshop: The Narrative Toolkit with Nick Earls

Nick Earls takes what he has learned over a 27-book career and turns it into a kit of practical writing tools.

Story Dogs 

Tuesday 4 May from 3.15pm at Victoria Point Library Children can practice their reading and gain confidence by reading to a trained Story Dog. 20 minute sessions available. Bookings required.

 

STEAM Saturdays

Join us for activities that alternate between technology and storytelling on Saturday mornings. Bookings essential.

Dungeons & Dragons

Held on the second Saturday of the month at Cleveland Library from 1 - 3pm for ages 12 and over. Booking essential.

Join us at one of our Pop Up Libraries on Friday mornings at popular parks in the Redlands.

Monthly Pop Up Libraries are also held at Dunwich on North Stradbrook Island and regular Story Time sessions are held at Russell Island Library.

National Simultaneous Storytime 

Join us at Capalaba, Cleveland and Victoria Point Libraries at 11am on Wednesday 19 May to read this year's book, Give Me Some Space. Bookings essential.
