This way to the
Boardwalk Chapel!

House Parents:

  • Do you love to work with energetic young people who are passionate about the things of the Lord? House Parents provide oversight, safety, and counsel for the summer staff at the Chapel.

Volunteer Staff: Domestic Team:

  • The Chapel's Domestic Operations Coordinator needs an assistant. What is sought is an individual with a big heart for serving who is excited and passionate about blessing the entire summer staff this summer!
  • Domestic Coordinator Elissa shares, "While I am looking for someone who is capable in the kitchen, please don't let skill level worry you too much, as I am happy to teach! I am most interested in finding a person who has a deep heart to use gifts of service as a way to bless others and serve the Lord."
  • The Domestic Team is much more than just cooking and serving nourishing food, but seeks to train staff and develop character in the life-long skills of humble care, patient diligence, and loving care toward others.

Volunteer Staff: Music Team:

  • Any additional musical talent would be a blessing to fill out the current team, but a drummer and a bassist are especially needed this summer!

Ministry Team Leaders say:

“I arrived at the chapel with thirteen mice, and a week later I left with thirteen lions.  The Boardwalk Chapel is at the same time a safe house for fellowship, and a bootcamp for zeal; a haven of prayer and a hive of song.  It is all these things and more because the Lord has so obviously been pleased to use it.”

“I see this as a great opportunity for church members of all ages to be trained in evangelism and grow in boldly speaking of Christ. Team members return home with a greater enthusiasm to practice evangelism in their community.”

Ministry Team Members say:

“The fellowship with the Chapel staff in prayer is truly amazing, and I was motivated to seek out opportunities to have that kind of fellowship with the believers in my life.”

“I loved fellowshipping with the teens and witnessing their many talents in the service of Christ.”

“I particularly enjoyed observing the different approaches that other team members and the chapel staff took to engage in discussion—I marvel at the gifts and knowledge that God has given individuals to spread His gospel.”
