Elisabeth Anker authored the book Orgies of Feeling: Melodrama and the Politics of Freedom (Duke University Press).

Jenna Weissman Joselit received the Simon Rockower Award from the American Jewish Press Association for "Excellence in Arts and Criticism, News and Features."

PhD student Christopher Mitchell was awarded the Samuel Beer Prize for best dissertation on British politics by the American Political Science Association.
