Sport Scholar Update

We have over 140 Macquarie University students who will be crowned as Sport Scholars in 2015. Many of these students will be acknowledged at the Macquarie University Sport Scholarship Program Launch on Wednesday 18 March. Congratulations to all 140 Sport Scholars!

Macquarie University Sport Scholar Jamie Nobbs was strong in practice at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Grenada Spain for the ladies figure skating (single); Unfortunately, Jamie narrowly missed out on qualifying for the finals due to a shaky take off. Although she was aiming for a place in the finals, Jamie was happy with her overall progression.

Great effort Jamie!

Born to Move

We want to get Australian kids moving and inspire them to develop a lifelong love of movement.

Young people experience fitness differently from adults. It’s about the joy of self-expression and the thrill of discovering and mastering new skills and exploring what they are truly capable of.

Born to Move, kids group fitness classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings in the Courtyard Studio. View details on the Sport website.
