The Nature of Campus

SPONSORED BY THE FAMILY LIFE COMMITTEE

July 10, 2021, 3:00 PM

Children's Sabbath School families are invited to join us. You will have the option of joining one of three tours around campus to learn more about the nature that is so close to us.

1. Nature Nugget Tour: Rosemary Bailey will lead you on a tour that looks for spiritual insights or lessons from the plants, flowers, trees (and whatever else might pop up) in God's nature around campus.

2. Trickett's Thicket Tour: William Helbley will lead you on a tour of the woods behind the campus apartments, noticing interesting aspects of that particular woods.

3. Rooftop Greenhouse Tour: Rebecca Turk will lead you on a tour of the greenhouse on top of the science complex, sharing what kinds of things can be found there. Masks and an RSVP will be required for this tour. Please email whelbley7@gmail.com to RSVP.

We will all meet in the administration building parking lot and then depart for our tours from there.

Offering for July 10, 2021

Every year, several friends came together to go salmon fishing. One man didn’t bring his polarized glasses. He noticed that his buddies could see the fish in the river and cast their fly presentations before them. While they caught one fish after another, he caught nothing. Then his friend realized what was happening. He said, “Come over here next to me.”
