Jo Hoffberg is a force of nature. She is an international choreographer, a highly decorated competitor, a thoughtful mentor, a wearer of high-waist pants, and is best known for her teaching.

Jess King is a passionate vocalist & rhythm player, mainly focused on trad jazz, swing, and blues. Her band plays the swing jazz classics of the 1930s-40s and is a sure-fire winner. Come dance with us!

December Series
Beginners: 8-count Lindy Hop and Charleston
Come learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form.
Core Concepts:
Charleston, A Closer Look
This class will be based in Charleston, where we focus on the solo and partnered skills and mechanics that will improve your clarity and enable more ways to play with Charleston. Prerequisite: Comfort with basic solo and partnered Charleston.
Deep Dive:
Lindy Hop, Triple Steps
We will dive into all the triple steps. We'll play with many facets of triple steps such as direction, pulse, weight shifts, and timing. These details will free you to improvise on the social dance floor.
Fast Room
12/11: DJ Lindy Spice
WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl!
Theme Party
12/18: Snowball Party
Let’s celebrate the snow! Since there’s no snow here, we’ll have to bring the snow ourselves by wearing WHITE clothing. Celebrate another year coming to an end with WNH!
Volunteer
We have volunteering opportunities to help get you into the dance and lessons for free.

Community Fund
Have a little extra money? Help those who cannot afford to take classes or come to dances. Anybody can donate. Anyone can ask to be subsidized.
