Offering scenic Hill Country views, the park serves as a friendly community gathering spot and is home to a white grape vineyard, olive grove, and herb garden. Only a month past the Grand Opening and the park is already a celebrated neighborhood asset, with residents posting on social media and meeting at the park in the evenings and on weekends. RViers Break Ground (and a Sweat) to Plant a Garden in the ValleyBY CHELSEA MCCAW On Saturday, November 3rd, members of our Tempe office joined over 300 volunteers for the 31st annual Valley Partnership Community Project. This year the team made a return visit to Sunshine Acres, a children’s home for kids whose families are currently unable to care for them. Sunshine Acres is home to more than 100 children and strives to provide every child in their care with the emotional, social, physical, educational, and spiritual support that they need to grow and be successful. The Valley Partnership event encompassed the construction and renovation of several areas around the Sunshine Acres campus. RVi team members Brittany Geist, Tim Bukovszky and his son, Jeremiah, along with many other volunteers, tackled the God’s Garden project. As co-captain of the project, I helped design, organize, and supervise the planting of the garden. Other projects included painting a mural wall, installing new playground equipment, and providing seating and shade structures at the two parks onsite, as well as replacing the sod and hardscaping at the football field. Every year the Community Project Committee raises thousands of dollars of funding and in-kind donations to make this event a reality. Many of the children who live at Sunshine Acres were able to participate in the project and were overjoyed to see the transformation of their home as everyone broke a healthy sweat in the morning sun. The day yielded fun, friendship, and feelings of goodwill for all as the finishing touches were placed just in time for lunch! RVi Launches Purpose-Based Brand RefreshBY KATIE HARRIS Over the past year we have been hard at work on many components of the RVi brand, starting with our Purpose Statement: to inspire people to be outside and engage in the community around them. Our purpose laid the groundwork for everything that follows, including an updated aesthetic that embodies the spirit and character of RVi. RVi's Brand Refresh is not just a marketing exercise; it is an opportunity for self-reflection and self-improvement in all that we do as a firm, and it will be a sustained effort over many years to come. Read on to learn more about our progress up to this point, and stay tuned as we continue to explore, evaluate, and grow.
