“Jesus in the Rough” PASTOR'S BLOG Ever hear of the Crater of Diamonds State Park? Me neither, until Melchi Ponniah shared a Washington Post piece with me. This unique park in Arkansas “allows visitors to
hand-sift 37 acres of plowed earth for the chance to take home a natural diamond — usually around a quarter of a carat and often found daily” ( https://apple.news/A5UsShzMUTe-o5c8nn2q8eA). Pandemic Celebration of the Cross
October 3 Please mark this Sabbath, October 3 (9:00/11:45 AM) for a joyful celebration of the Lord's Supper as a worshiping community. While we will participate with actual emblems of bread and wine, because of the pandemic the elements will be prepackaged for your safety. These packaged elements will be available for your pickup (for off-site use during live stream worship) at the church office this next week (Monday, September 28 through Sabbath, October 3). On-site worshipers this Sabbath will receive the packaged communion elements upon arriving for worship Sabbath morning.
Kevin's Story “Authenticity right now has become probably one of the most valuable social currencies out there. More and more people are drawn towards content that gives them a sense of peace... that's what my [TikTok] channel over time had become.”

I suppose that’s something that can be celebrated, as many things can be learned through podcasts, but I personally prefer the National Love People Day. Read

Pastor Appreciation Month October is Pastor Appreciation Month. You will wholeheartedly agree that our Pioneer pastors have worked very diligently and creatively throughout this year. As a congregation, we have been blessed and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their efforts. Although we do not have thank you cards available this year, if you wish to write a personal note to one or more of our pastors you can so online.
COVID-19 ResourcesSelf-isolating because of COVID-19? We are here to help! We have a team of volunteers who can help pick up things for you like groceries or medicine, and they can even call you to pray with you. Let us know how we can help!
