2014 Stencil Art Prize Finalists Announced

We are excited to announce the finalist lineup for the 2014 Stencil Art Prize which will feature 65 finalists from 18 countries. Finalists from every corner of the globe will exhibit at aMBUSH Gallery from the 16-19 October. View the finalist listing here.

Countries include Germany, Iran, France, USA, Scotland, Canada, Netherlands, England, Argentina, Norway, Thailand, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic and Australia.

We'll be publishing finalist artworks on our website in the weeks leading up to the Exhibition Launch, so keep an eye on our social media pages (listed at the bottom of this email).

All artworks will be for sale, with the winning artwork acquired by the Stencil Art Prize. If you'd like to receive an email notifying you when the online store is open, please email info@stencilartprize.com with 'artwork sale' in the subject. Don't worry, if you purchase the winner ahead of the winner announcement, you'll receive a full refund after the Exhibition Launch.

Grant Burge Wines supporting the Stencil Art Prize

The Award Winning Barossa Valley winemakers from Grant Burge Wines have partnered with the Stencil Art Prize! Yes that’s right, we’ll be celebrating the Exhibition Launch on Thursday 16 October with a selection of these beautiful wines from one of the best wine making regions in the world. Project Five launches this September in Sydney

Australia's longest running contemporary street art project - Project Five, has announced their artist line up for the next Version 6 live painting event 26-28 September in Sydney at Darling Quarters Village Green.

Artists include Askew One (Elliot O’Donnell) - part of renowned artist collective TMD (The Most Dedicated) - from Auckland, NZ and two time winner of the prestigious international graffiti event Write4Gold; Perth’s king of street art Kyle Hughes-Odgers; Sydney’s prolific Alex Lehours; and Melbourne's 23rd Key, renowned for her photo-realistic works and winner of the 2011 Stencil Art Prize. 

The four pieces will be auctioned on Friday 29 October, with 100% of the proceeds put to work for the Project’s new partner Arts Ready, a not-for-profit organisation that helps young trainees establish themselves in careers in the arts and creative industries. Details here.
