Reminder: Reconvened AGM – 17 April 2023

This is a reminder that our reconvened AGM will be at 7 p.m. on Monday 17 April 2023 at the Isleworth Public Hall, South Street, Isleworth. TW7 7BG. Please note this will be an in-person meeting only.

Thamesbank supported Debt Awareness Week

Debt Awareness Week took place from 20-26 Mar 2023. It’s an annual campaign organised by StepChange Debt Charity’s to raise awareness of debt and the support that’s available.

StepChange have out together a 60 seconds test which asks you five quick questions and taking it:

• helps people recognise the danger signs of debt
• tells them clearly if they’ve got a debt problem
• makes it easier to take the first step to tackle their debts

LPA - Lasting  Power of Attorney 

Wills is an important document for many families.

However, there is something else many individuals or families forget to do… What would happen if you became incapacitated, how could decisions about your health and finance?

That’s where an LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) comes in.

It's easy and simple to make your own LPA, and you need pay no legal fees - only the £82 registration fee to the Court of Protection.  

If you have a low income, you will only pay half, and if you receive certain means-tested benefits you will pay nothing at all.
