We have some exciting news to share with you!

Vaughn Spring (currently serving at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cairns) has accepted the call to be the Pastor at Grow Ministries. We are really looking forward to Vaughn joining the team.

Vaughn will lead the GROW Coaching team as we develop and implement our GROW Coaching initiative. Grow Ministries plans to work intentionally with congregations with the support of their District as they re-think child, youth and family ministry in the 21st century. Coaching helps leaders focus on what God is doing in their congregation and community, and reminds them of the important roles they play as spiritual leaders within their homes and congregations.

Vaughn will also provide theological guidance for the development and review of CYFM resources for the LCA. This includes contributing to the development of resources for baptism, first communion, confirmation preparation and bible studies focussed on our guiding principles for effective child, youth and family ministry.

Recently we sent out a special eNews asking for assistance in our research on confirmation. So far we have had an excellent response but would love to reach as many people as possible.
