Mt. Airy Business District Annual Meeting Tuesday, Nov. 28, 6:30-8 p.m., Grannum Hall, New Covenant Campus, 7500 Germantown Ave.
Mt. Airy residents are invited to attend the annual meeting of the Mt. Airy Business Improvement District, featuring a keynote by Anne Fadullon, the city’s first Director of Planning and Development. Board elections will also take place, and property owners in the district, which encompasses the Germantown Avenue commercial corridor from Cresheim Valley Drive to Washington Lane, are eligible to vote. The mission of the Mt. Airy BID, whose charter was recently renewed for another five years by City Council and Mayor Kenney, is to maintain a clean commercial corridor while also enhancing safety and beautification.
