A shopper bags fresh beets as a farmer smiles at the Phinney Farmers Market.

The Phinney Farmers Market is now open every Friday from 3 to 7 pm in our upper parking lot! The market is a lively community gathering place offering farm fresh produce and tasty prepared foods. It also connects shoppers with the folks who grow our food and directly supports those producers! Market season is through Sept. 30, and you can subscribe to our partner Neighborhood Farmers Markets' Ripe and Ready e-newsletter for a weekly update on what's fresh at the Phinney Farmers Market.

Mission Moments

Images from Garage Sale Day, including the styrofoam recycling station, shoppers at the Tool Sale, figurines at a neighborhood booth, a neighborhood bake sale, and a sale in the flea market.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Garage Sale Day, Tool Library Sale, and recycling event on May 21! The event featured more than 70 neighborhood sales and 20+ vendors in our flea market. Over 200 neighbors recycled with great event partners like Waste Management, and they turned in 11,063 pounds of waste and unwanted items! We loved seeing the community out treasure hunting, selling, and decluttering on a sunny day.

Pics from PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop of children enjoying rainbow face painting, rainbow wand making with the PNA Village, the Robert Eagle Staff Middle School QSA club, and a hand painted rainbow temporary tattoo.

The PhinneyWood Rainbow Hop celebration honored Pride on June 4 with engaging family fun activities promoting inclusiveness. Forty community partners hosted booths throughout the neighborhood and hundreds of kids enjoyed the event. The PNA booth hosted an interactive art activity celebrating family and our PNA Village brought music, colorful “magic” wands, and intergenerational joy.

Our Small Business Advocate Chris Maykut enjoyed meeting over 100 kids as they exchanged their Hop maps for zoo tickets and shared that, "nearly everyone went out of their way to express how much fun they had and how meaningful the action of creating this annual event is to them. The businesses and organizations brought incredibly imaginative and delightful activities that helped bring home the message that our community is safe, inclusive, and committed to equity."
