Click here Portrait of former Regional Chair Jim Bradley to be unveiled March 26March 23, 2026 Media and members of the public are invited to witness the unveiling of former Regional Chair Jim Bradley's official portrait, which will be installed at Regional Headquarters at 5 p.m. before the March 26 Regional Council meeting. Portraits of past Regional Chairs are traditionally installed in the Campbell West Foyer just outside of Council Chamber. The brief ceremony will include brief remarks from Acting Regional Chair Rob Foster and Niagara Region Chief Administrative Officer Ron Tripp.
Jim Bradley served as Niagara's Regional Chair from 2018 until his passing in September 2025. Prior to serving as Regional Chair, Bradley served as St. Catharines MPP for 41 years, holding several key Provincial Cabinet appointments during that time. Bradley began his political career on St. Catharines City Council in 1970. Throughout his 55-year political career, Bradley was known for his civility, his deep respect for people at every level of politics, and his ability to create consensus and cooperation.
