Nicole Manison Media Release Outback Ringer Filming Second Series13 September 2021 Filming is underway for a second series of the popular doco-series Outback Ringer in the Borroloola region of the Top End. ABC TV has commissioned a second series of 7 x 30 minute episodes following the success of the first series of 10 episodes broadcast on ABC in late 2020. The Territory Government has provided $130,000 of development and production funding from the recently announced 2021-22 Screen Territory funding program for Outback Ringer Series two. The series follows the work and lives of the men and women who catch feral bulls and buffalo in various remote locations of the Top End. An original concept by local Darwin filmmaker Tommy Lawrence of Ten4 Media, the series will once again be produced by Ronde Media with Ben Davies (Bondi Rescue) on board as Executive Producer and Tommy Lawrence as concept creator, Producer and Series Director (Field). The second series of Outback Ringer will air on ABC TV and ABC iview nationally in 2022, with UK distributor DCD Rights on board as the international sales and marketing agent.
