The UK government has set up a £2.5million fund to provide devices, data and digital support to people with learning disabilities who can’t afford to get online.

The Digital Lifeline scheme will fund 5,000 internet tablets preloaded with data and free tech support for those facing digital exclusion through cost being a barrier to internet access, and increased social isolation caused by covid-19.

As well as the devices and data, delivery partners will get a grant of £100 for every person they support. The minimum is 10 people + a grant of £1,000. More than 10 devices/£1,000 may be available to a single delivery partner, depending on demand.

Deadline: Monday 15 March, 12pm

The Women Thrive Fund from the Rosa and Smallwood Trust is distributing grants of up to £40,000 to specialist women’s organisations across the UK.

Organisations should be working to enable women and girls to improve their mental health and wellbeing and/or improve their financial resilience. The fund responds directly to what women’s and girls’ organisations have told us throughout the pandemic: that declining mental health, increased risk of emotional trauma and increased poverty levels are their biggest concerns for women and girls across the UK.

Deadline: Thursday 25 March, 5pm
