Traditional Home July Issue
Encore! After receiving rave reviews as a Show House, an elegant Atlanta residence is ready for its new role.
Ever wonder what happens to a Show House when the tours are over? We were hired to design and furnish the entire house top to bottom, including the cookware. Inspired by the home owners international art collection and caveat that EVERYTHING had to be green friendly, we mixed old with new. Using antiques is the ultimate in green - recycling in a beautiful way!

Alys Beach

Here's a look at another one of our completed Alys Beach projects. To date, we have designed six homes in this glorious beach community inspired by the Mediterranean. Click here to see more images of this home.
For this home, we opted to bring a taste of the low country style. By playing up the extensive use of exotic wood features like the ceiling trusses and beams, floor to ceiling plantation style doors, and fireplace mantel, we created a space that offers the style reminiscent of Charleston or Savannah. Bright splashes of color are emphasized in the courtyard where the color palate, split brick floor, and bougainvillea gently follow the arches. For the interior furnishings, cerused wood furniture is accented by various textures of linen and a calming color palette throughout the home. Sea fans and coral give a nod to the beach setting, while modern art and sculptures transform this low country style home into a more contemporary setting.
Alys Beach is a New Urbanist beach town located along Florida's Gulf Coast.

The ATLANTAN
Home Sweet Home - taken at the Atlanta Symphony Decorators' Show House Opening Night Event where we designed the Grand Foyer!
THE PARTY The city’s top interior and landscape designers transformed a French-inspired Buckhead estate for the Atlanta Symphony Decorators’ Show House and Gardens. For the opening night party, Noir et Blanc: A Black and White Affair, guests donned gala garb, and proceeds supported the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s education and community engagement programs.
THE SCENE The evening began with a sophisticated champagne reception where guests mixed, mingled and buzzed with excitement about the 35 decorated rooms. A thorough property tour was followed by an appropriately French-inspired banquet with live music and dancing. Photography by Jeff Roffman
