  YOU'RE INVITED!

Join us at 5.30pm at SOUNZ HQ on Monday 9 September for a FREE screening of the documentary Harps Make Fine Companions - and a Q&A afterwards with the maker/star Helen Webby.

When the Christchurch city centre became an earthquake disaster area, and all the concert halls closed, Helen made plans to commission and record nine original pieces for solo harp written by some of New Zealand’s foremost composers. This documentary follows Helen as she produces her album, Pluck.

See the trailer here.

Seats are free but VERY limited. RSVP for your seat/s here.

  HIDDEN TREASURE

To get you in the mood for Gareth Farr's new string quartet Te Tai-O-Rehua, listen to his work Owhiro, beautifully performed by the New Zealand String Quartet on this recording.
