We hope you had a Happy Hanukkah filled with light and love. No images? Click here Dear Friends, We hope you had a Happy Hanukkah filled with light and love. As we all continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Israel, we are proud to have brought more than 250 people together for virtual prayer vigils and programs during the past month. This gave many Jewish community members without access to in-person programming a chance to feel connected to the broader Jewish community as we collectively grieve and process the horrific events of October 7 and beyond. Should your community need support, please let us know. We are here for you. As we approach the end of 2023, we wanted to provide an update about some exciting things regarding JCLP and our work across the country. If you would like to include JCLP in your year-end giving, we would be most appreciative. Please click DONATE to make a donation through the JCLP website. The generous gifts from our donors allow us to continue to provide our services free of charge to the communities we serve. Thank you in advance for your support. Shavua Tov, David Sarnat, President & Founder Noah Levine, CEO Our Impact Our mission is to provide planning resources and solutions specific to the unique needs of small Jewish congregations, empowering each to secure its own future.
Empowering a New GenerationA Gathering in Atlanta Earlier this month, we hosted a gathering for people who grew up in small communities, but now live in the metro Atlanta area. The event was a huge success! Almost 150 people attended; they connected with one another, had the opportunity to give their own oral histories, learn about the impact of small Jewish communities on American culture, and hear about the origins and work of JCLP. We hope to replicate this concept in other metro areas in 2024! If your city would be interested in hosting one of these gatherings, please let us know. Click JCLP Facebook to follow our Facebook page and stay up to date about the impact of our work. |
