Beginners:
6- & 8-count Lindy Hop
Come learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form. No partner required, just bring your enthusiasm.
Core Concepts:
Leveling up fundamentals
We aim to help refine your dancing to become effortless, fluid, and more dynamic by honing our fundamentals such as solo movements, timing, and connection techniques.
Adventure: Shim Sham Double Feature
We will start with the classic version that you may know. Then we will mix up the same moves into a fun choreography by Jon Tigert called the St. Louis Shim Sham.
Deep Dive:
Fancy old school Sh... Stuff
We will spotlight signature moves and stylings that were very popular "back in the day". The emphasis ranges from flashy footwork to playful partner interaction.
Fast Room
6/12: DJ Anton
WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl!
Theme Party

Come celebrate Juneteenth with us, learn about this important holiday! Do you have fancy clothes you never get the opportunity to wear? You’re in luck, we will be hosting our annual Lindy Prom w/ our free photo booth!
Volunteer
We have volunteering opportunities to help get you into the dance and lessons for free.

Community Fund
Have a little extra money? Help those who cannot afford to take classes or come to dances. Anybody can donate. Anyone can ask to be subsidized.
