Introducing...our new CoPTTM website

The Waka Kotahi CoPTTM website has had a revamp!

Features include easier navigation, improved viewing and access on mobile devices, an embedded way to contact the CoPTTM team via contact form, and access to more of our resources and notices in a central location.

We hope that you will find everything you need for application of the CoPTTM in this new central hub. Please use the contact form if you have any feedback or suggestions relating to the new website.

TTM training and competency model - Update

The new CoPTTM website has a section dedicated to training and assessment and the Training and competency model.

https://nzta.govt.nz/roads-and-rail/code-of-practice-for-temporary-traffic-management/training-and-assessment/training-and-competency-model/

On this page you can access the Training and competency model document and see the implementation timeline for TTM learning blocks.

Currently the new TC learning material has been developed and trialled and was ready for rollout during COVID-19 lockdown. Universal STMS learning material is near completion, and STMS Category A and Category B learning material is being developed.

Once these core learning blocks have been completed and trialled they will then be rolled out to trainers. The training team is working on a plan for how best to deliver this rollout.

TTM Planner workshops

TTM Planner workshops cancelled during lockdown have been rebooked and additional
workshops
are now being created to meet demand.

Every inquiry received for additional workshops is being logged in a ‘wait list’ and if all spaces are full in a particular region we start the process of creating a new workshop almost immediately.

If you have been unable to book a place on a TTM Planner workshop in your region please register your interest via the workshop's waiting list online. This is the most valuable way for us to collect information about demand.

To find hotel venues to host workshops at present is difficult and many other TTM trainers will be feeling this strain at the moment as well. We are competing with huge numbers of other conference users for a fraction of what was previously available, with short notice cancellations and rearrangements by venues happening almost daily as venues are turned into isolation facilities.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding with all TTM trainers and others hosting events over the coming months as the pandemic continues to affect businesses.
