Principal's Message Dear Parents and Guardians, Welcome to Week 9! Financial Audit - Yesterday our school underwent a Financial Audit and I am pleased to report that Andrea passed with flying colours. Andrea does a fabulous job of managing our finances with constant interruptions from staff and students. Great work Andrea! Bluearth Golf Day - Last Friday, Bluearth hosted a Golf Day at the Euroa Golf Course to raise money for our school. It was a beautiful day for a hit of golf and it was great to see the day well supported. Thank you to Jimmy Ivill (our Bluearth coach) and everyone connected to St John’s for attending the day. We are lucky to have such a caring community. School Photos - School photos will be taken next Wednesday 31st March. This year orders must be placed online at eliteschoolphotography.com.au No envelopes will be sent home. Please see flyer below. School Supervision - Parents please note that students must not come to school until 8:25am when student supervision begins. Before School Care in the Mercy Centre is available for families needing care before 8:25am. Sick Students - Thank you to the parents who are keeping their sick children at home. We appreciate your support with this, as we cannot have sick children at school. Junior Excursion- The Very Hungry Caterpillar - A reminder for Junior School (Foundation – Year 2) parents to log on to the Parent Access Module and allow permission for the excursion to Shepparton on 23rd April. Payment of $10 for your child to attend must be paid for via CDFpay https://sjeuroa.cdfpay.org.au Year 6 Hoodies - Year 6 hoodies can now be ordered through CDF pay. A guide is available when you order, if you are unsure of sizing. Orders need to be in by this Friday 26th March. Thank you. Wedding Bells - We wish Rhys and Kymberley, parents of Millie and Riley Boyd all the best as they celebrate their wedding this weekend. Stations of the Cross – FCJ - Next Tuesday Year 4-6 students will be attending the Stations of the Cross performance at FCJ College in their new stadium. Students will be leaving St John’s at 10am and returning before lunchtime. Please complete the permission form online. Stations of the Cross – St John’s - Next Thursday 1st April our Year 6 students will present the Stations of the Cross. Parents, parishioners and community members are welcome to attend this event. It will be held in the Mercy Centre and begin on time at 1:30pm. End of Term One - Term 1 will finish next Thursday at 2:20pm. Buses will be running an hour earlier in the afternoon. The Jump Rope for heart program has been going well in PE classes. There has been a lot of improvement and we hope the students are practising their skipping at home as well. Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) - The CSEF helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. If you have a valid concession card you may be eligible. Payment this year is $125.00 per student and payments are made directly to the school and credited to your account to go toward camps, excursions for the benefit of your child. If you applied for CSEF at our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances. If you would like to apply, please contact Andrea at the office for an application form. Uniform Shop - Sally will be available on Tuesdays & Fridays this year.
