Harris Health System will open health plan enrollment assistance centers in five Harris County locations. Enrollment in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace ends January 31, 2015. Patients and the public can receive one-on-one help to see if they qualify for the insurance plans and to sign up online or by telephone at any Harris Health eligibility center location. Additionally, two of the five centers will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on select Saturdays throughout the enrollment period. The holidays are upon us and we are all looking forward to spending time with family, shopping for presents and celebrating the New Year. But before the ball drops in Times Square and we make our new year's resolutions, we need to finish out the current year strong. But if you live in the City of Houston, please be sure to vote in the December 12th Runoff Elections.  Also, the end of open enrollment for the Affordable Healthcare Act is quickly approaching on January 31st.
