Response needed

With the COVID-19 situation continuing to evolve in Australia, the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment (DAWE) are very interested to hear from the seafood industry about how their business would respond if a staff member tested positive to COVID-19. This information will help the Department gain a more comprehensive understanding of the advice provided to industry and the strategies to put into place, which will be important should any market access issues arise in the event of a positive COVID-19 case at an export establishment.

In your response, please include details on:

  • Any advice that you have received on dealing with a positive case, including where this advice has come from
  • Notification processes (e.g. criteria around who, when and how to notify of a positive case)
  • Any other company procedures or policies around dealing with a positive case.

DAWE would appreciate receiving your responses by email here by COB Wednesday 29 July 2020.
