A session of songs, music and storytelling for children and their parents and carers.

Ages: 0-2 years. No bookings required.

 

Pop Up Library 9.30-11.00am

Friday 20 at Mt Cotton Community Park

Join us while we are out and about for a fun filled session of storytelling, craft and other activities.

Ages: 0 - 5 years. Free event. No bookings required.

Bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.

Please check Facebook on the day of event for any cancellation notices due to weather conditions.

Egg Drop Challenge
10–11.30am

Drop in and create your own emergency safety vehicle for a falling egg!

Come and build a Lego drag racer!  Learn to code a simple race and build a Lego robot.

Join us for an interactive drumming session with EcoBeats.

Author Talk - John Lonie

Join us for a morning with Brisbane-based author, John Lonie, also the screenwriter of popular TV series, A Place
to Call Home.


John will discuss his latest book, The
Woman from Saint Germain, a story of
two strangers joining forces to escape the Nazis in 1941.

Author Talk - Lois Letchford

6pm on Thursday 19 at Victoria Point Library

When Lois Letchford's son was diagnosed with a low IQ and he was cast aside and labelled "learning disabled" by his teachers, Lois refused to give up on him. Instead, she took on his education and thanks to her unique teaching experiments he completed a PhD from Oxford University.

Join Lois, also known as the literacy problem solver, for this inspiring evening - a must for teachers, educators and parents.
