ADL IS ON in new AEDA events and festivals campaign

The city is on, and there is no off date in sight, in the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA)’s new ADL IS ON campaign showcasing myriad festivals in 2023. ADL IS ON encourages visitation, visitor spend and overnight stays from suburban and regional South Australians seeking an experience only the city can offer.

Rundle Mall trading hours

Rundle Mall will trade until midnight tonight and Friday night to help you tick off everything on your Christmas shopping list. It will open at 9:00 am on Saturday 24 December. The Mall will close on Christmas Day, them reopen for Boxing Day sales on Monday 26 December at 9am. Check individual stores for opening hours.

A Re-Newed chapter for the Regent Arcade

Renew Adelaide is set to launch three new ventures in the iconic Regent Arcade as part of the not-for-profit’s plan to revitalise the shopping precinct. Luxe size-inclusive sleepwear label DormiCo launched on Sunday, while a First Nations-owned personal and home care range, as well as a contemporary and experimental exhibition space, are set to open in the coming weeks. Renew Adelaide has a further four tenancies available for viewing.

Planning System implementation review

The State Government has engaged an expert panel to provide an independent review of South Australia’s planning system. The City of Adelaide is preparing a response to the expert panel and is seeking feedback to inform its response. Have Your Say on the future of South Australian planning prior to Friday 13 January.
