Happy Birthday, America
Whenever our circuit through the year comes to July 4, I pause to thank God for this country. And as I do, I recall two inspired realities that are part and parcel of America in my mind. First are these words I have scribbled at the top of a page in the Apocalypse, the Revelation of Jesus: “The Lord has done more for the United States than for any other country upon which the sun shines” (Ms 17, 1907). From that hallowed day in Philadelphia, July 4, 1776—when the Declaration of Independence was formally inked into existence with our founding fathers’ signatures—until now, I believe it is true that the sunshine of God’s grace has beneficently shined down upon this land. We even sing it, don’t we? “America, America, God shed His grace on thee—and crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.”
Pioneer Reentry Task Force Update
Pioneer's Reentry Task Force continues to monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19 in our area. At this time we continue to look forward to seeing you here for an open Sanctuary on July 11. Additional information regarding your safety as we return will be forthcoming.
Sun, Fun, & Faith!
We are inviting all youth to come out to Lake Chapin every Tuesday night from June 30 - August 11 at 6:00 PM to join us for Sun, Fun, and Faith! We will have boating, fun, and worship. Masks are encouraged and attendees are asked to remember social distancing. The Youth Department is asking for anyone with a boat who can bring it to out to Lake Chapin on Tuesday nights to contact Brooke Scott at 269-932-5783 via text or call.

Do you need a Sabbath School Quarterly? You can always download a digital copy, but if you'd like to have your own physical copy they are located just inside the main entrance of the church. Life Lessons from Lumpy and Roo:
It would not be a stretch to say that one of our favorite family movies is Pooh’s Heffalump Movie, a sweet story focusing on the young kangaroo named Roo. Roo has learned all about the dreadfully dreadful, horribly hazardous heffalumps from his friends' Rabbit and Tigger when they discover evidence that a heffalump has been in the Hundred Acre Wood. All the friends decide they need to capture the heffalump but leave Roo behind because he’s too young to go on such an expedition. Unwilling to be left out, Roo goes on his own expedition to capture a heffalump. In the process, he meets a young heffalump named Lumpy, and the two quickly become friends, playing and singing together.
