UAFP Continues to Urge Governor Herbert to Issue Statewide Mask MandateYesterday, Governor Gary Herbert issued a statewide mask mandate for all in K-12 school in the fall, but fell short of issuing a statewide mandate for anyone in public who is unable to physically distance. UAFP is disappointed at Governor Herbert's refusal to issue a state-wide mandatory
mask order. This is, quite literally, a case of life or death for Utahns. UAFP will continue to advocate for evidence-based decisions on the part of our government leaders. We also encourage you to reach out to Governor Herbert's office online or by phone at 800-705-2464 to ask for a statewide face covering mandate.
