Niagara Region's Pathway to Functional Zero

Pathway to Functional Zero
May 2026

A New Way to Stay Informed is Coming June 15

This edition of our newsletter is a bit different than usual as we are announcing the end of the Pathway to Functional Zero newsletter, but not the end of our connection with you.

Niagara Region Homelessness Services wants to extend our thanks to everyone who has followed our newsletter, shared this journey and stayed connected to the important work happening across our community. Your interest in the incredible efforts of our community partners and your willingness to listen to the voices and experiences of community members, has helped make this newsletter meaningful.

While we are saying goodbye to this newsletter, we are also excited for what comes next. We are pleased to share that Niagara Region’s first Community Safety and Well-Being newsletter will launch on June 15.

The Community Safety and Well-Being newsletter will carry this work forward by continuing to spotlight homelessness initiatives alongside broader community stories, updates and achievements. It marks a new way to stay informed and inspired — bringing together highlights, information and the collective work happening across our community in one place.

Each edition will include updates on four shared community safety and well-being priorities:

  • Mental Health and Addictions
  • Homelessness and Basic Needs
  • Gender-based Violence
  • Community Safety

It will also feature community news, events, resources and grant and learning opportunities to support organizations and partners across Niagara.

As we look ahead to the June 15 launch, we invite you to stay tuned and take a minute to subscribe to the new newsletter.
