RVi Opens Orlando Office

Exciting things have been happening at RVi, and we are delighted to announce the opening of our new Orlando office! The office, located at 130 South Orange Avenue in Orlando, will be headed by Ryan Seacrist, PLA. Ryan is a licensed landscape architect and experienced office leader with experience in a variety of public and private sector project types including parks and recreation, K-12 and higher education, corporate campuses, mixed-use developments, urban plazas and streetscapes, multi-family, and master planned communities.

For RVi, the opening of a Florida office felt like a natural fit. “We are very excited to establish an office in Florida, as many of our existing clients and allied firms are already active in this market. Under Ryan’s leadership, we are looking forward to bringing our planning and design expertise to a state with a very strong economy and burgeoning real estate development industry,” RVi President Chris Crawford said.

Arizona State Land Department: A Keyholder for Real Estate Development

Falling under the category of “probably not news to anyone,” the real estate development market in Arizona is RED HOT. One aspect of the market that is unique in Arizona is the fact that the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) holds the proverbial key to unlocking millions of acres of developable land throughout the state. In fact, the ASLD currently holds 9.2 million acres – or 12.7% of the entire state – in its trust. Those who follow the news in Arizona have likely seen the record-high sales prices obtained at auction for ASLD properties, as well as the landmark new developments on the horizon for Arizona as a result of these land sales. But what all is involved in the ASLD process, and where does all that auction money go?

Alex Stedman has been promoted to Associate Principal in Tempe!

Alex has more than 20 years experience in land use and development, and has a deep understanding of industry knowledge. Alex has also been involved in both public and private sector work throughout Arizona, leading efforts on both large scale master planned communities and subdivisions.
