- GUEST TEACHER: Sean Krazit
We are delighted to welcome Sean to WNH to teach a Solo Jazz class series in Core Concepts and teach the Dance Conversation Deep Dive series with Sam. Take this opportunity to improve your own movement and partnership!
- NEW PRACTICE ROOM
Starting this August, Wednesday Night Hop will be providing an open practice space on the first Wednesday of each month. Get together with other dancers to practice a move you learned in class, or workshop a move you saw on video.
When: 1st Wed, 8:20-9:20pm
Where: Rainbow Room
Cost: included in class/dance ticket

Come dance to the swingin' tunes of the Don Neely Swingtet! Whatever flavor of swing gets your feet moving, they have something for you.

Beginners: 8-count Lindy Hop and Charleston
Come learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form.
☀️ This is the second month of our 3-month Summer Swing Program.
Core Concepts: Getting Out on the Dance Floor, SOLO!
— with Guest teacher Sean Krazit —
This series will teach you everything you need to get out on the floor and start solo dancing. We’ll learn core solo jazz vocabulary with multiple levels of optional difficulty.
Adventure: Beginner-mediate Collegiate Shag
This class will start from the basics (assuming some background in swing dancing), but folks who have taken a Shag class before should expect to see some less common moves and ideas they might not have tried before.
Deep Dive: Dance as Conversation
— with Guest teacher Sean Krazit —
Dancing is more fun when it is a conversation, where both partners can share and respond to each other’s ideas. This class will focus on the skills and mindsets leading to amazing dance conversations.
Fast Room
8/14: DJ Pin
WNH will dedicate a room to all things “fast swing.” This could mean uptempo Lindy Hop, or dancing other swing dances such as Balboa or Collegiate Shag that evolved with faster music. Give it a whirl!
Theme Party
8/21: Ice Cream Party
Beat the August heat with a sweet treat! Cool down between dances and enjoy a scoop (or two) of ice cream. We’ll be providing various flavors for you to have a dance with your tastebuds.
Volunteer
We have volunteering opportunities to help get you into the dance and lessons for free.

Lindy Hop is happiness in its purest form... therefore a gift certificate to learn it is the perfect gift for any occasion!
Community Fund
Have a little extra money? Help those who cannot afford to take classes or come to dances. Anybody can donate. Anyone can ask to be subsidized.
