LCC Lenten Appeal: Stepping stones - one step at a time

We are now a few weeks into the season of Lent, a time for us to reflect on the sufferings and sacrifice of Christ. It is also a time to reflect on our own lives and reach out to those suffering in our communities.

As you may know, our staff meet new people every week who have their own personal stories of heartache. These stories of pain and suffering are never easy to hear, but they can be the first step on a journey of healing.

Recently a young woman named Olivia visited our site at Blair Athol and it was clear she had been struggling for some time. Through our emergency relief service and the support of a financial counsellor, we helped Olivia take a step in the right direction and she is now on the path to stability.
