STATE NEWS

THANKS WA

Thank you to the West Australian Equestrian Community for helping me represent Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

Because of your help I was able to attend the necessary qualification competitions to be selected for the Australian Team and then prepare for the Rio Paralympic Games. You allowed an ordinary West Australian to live an incredible dream and in return I hope I can inspire others to do the same.

The Rio Paralympics was an amazing experience. To be a part of the Australian Team and the whole Paralympic movement is something that will be with me for the rest of my life and is something I thoroughly enjoyed and I am very grateful for. I am very proud of my horse Ceasy and I, overcoming many hurdles along the way, to come home with 9th place in the Individual Championship Grade III Test. It was a very exciting achievement.
