IMDEX Support – the all-in-one portal for your support needs

We are pleased to launch IMDEX Support – a dedicated client portal within IMDEXHUB-IQ™. 

The new portal provides useful ‘how to’ information, together with a library of user guides, simple training videos and FAQ sheets for our leading range of instruments and technologies.   

Users of IMDEXHUB-IQ™ can access IMDEX Support using existing IMDEXHUB-IQ™ login details – or click on the ‘forgot password’ link to reset.   

REFLEX Tool Application Updates

For additional security of client data, most applications by design, delete data on logout.  This has presented some challenges when the signed in user’s password expires and the user has to logout to reset the password. 

To address this, the applications for our REFLEX EZ-GYRO 2.0™, REFLEX EZ-TRAC™, REFLEX ACT III™, REFLEX TN14™ and REFLEX EZ-GAMMA™ are being updated to make the following enhancements:

• Applications will no longer logout users for a password change; and
• If a user chooses to logout an alert will advise them that data may be lost.  The application will then require a manual input/confirmation that the user really wants to log out and knowingly delete the data.

The application updates are scheduled to be finalised by early July 2018. In the meantime we suggest using IMDEXHUB-IQ™ logins for data collection where the user only has the SUBMIT permission.  This will ensure the user’s password won’t expire.

Our new REFLEX GYRO SPRINT-IQ™ and REFLEX ACT-IQ™ instruments will be released with the enhancements.

Security and Hub Best Practice

As a recommended best practice we advise you to check the permissions you have assigned in IMDEXHUB-IQ™ regularly.  In particular the “Manage Users” permission allows the user to modify the users and projects within an IMDEXHUB-IQ™ database.

All administrators should review this permission regularly and ensure any users granted this permission are authorised to make changes.

 Approving Surveys

• User can now bulk approve REFLEX EZ-GAMMA™ IN/OUT runs rather than approve one at a time.
• Dog Leg Severity (DLS), X, Y & Z are now calculated using the minimum curvature method.

Integrations

• An issue identified with displaying measured depth for the REFLEX EZ-TRAC™ survey has been resolved.
