WELCOMEThe 2018 EA Reaccreditation process for National Dressage and Show Horse Judges is coming to a close. There is still some Seminar/Workshop activity around the states if you still require one. Please contact me if your name is not showing on the EA web search officials list. For Jumping, Eventing, Driving, Vaulting, Medication Control and Measuring Officials, this is a reminder that you are due to submit EA Reaccreditation forms on the 31st March 2019. You are required to attend a Seminar once every three years and provide proof of active officiating. Check with your State branch if a Seminar is still required. Don’t forget that if you are planning overseas officiating trips, please share your experience at 'Officials Insight' http://www.equestrian.org.au/officials/insight Di Saunders, Pathway Manager - Officials.
FREE ONLINE COURSE FOR OFFICIALSEA recommends completion of the following two free generic e-learning courses for new Officials, brought to you by the Australian Sports Commission and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.
![]() REMINDER TO JUMPING JUDGESIt is really important that you forward scoresheets to your State Branch as soon as possible. Many people rely on these scores (to enter correct events, to check eligibility for events, leaderboards etc). Whilst the following rule has been included as a reminder of your obligation, the EAJC would also like to ask if you would make a note on the scoresheet of any fall that you witness in an arena while you are judging. The aim is to investigate the collection of data similar to Eventing to track risks and your help here is really appreciated. (Article 283 – Points System for Jumping Horses - Points: It is the responsibility of the Judge to forward the correctly completed scores and results sheets to the relevant Equestrian Australia State office within 14 days of the completion of the Competition. The National Jumping points system is based on an allocation of points to the top three places in Competitions which count for points.) 2018 FEI EVENTING COURSE – TAUPO NZIt was NZ’s turn to host the FEI Eventing courses this year, and a large cohort of Australian Eventing Officials headed off to the Taupo event on the weekend of the 12-13 May to either reaccredit or promote their qualification.
