Click here Dear Competitors, Owners and supporters, The Sydney CDI Organising Committee will be going ahead in a similar format to what we had in 2021. The good news is that we hope to be able to include a CDI3* at Grand Prix level, CDI-U25 and CDI-Y, subject to final approval by the FEI. Due to ongoing border and travel limitations in Australia, the FEI have agreed to grant exemptions that allow the Boneo Park Classic (January) and Willinga Park (February) events to go ahead with CDI sanctioned competitions using FEI Accredited Australian Judges. Conditions apply for the Grand Prix in relation to qualifications for the 2022 World Equestrian Games in August 2022 in Herning Denmark. We are hopeful that the FEI will allow the Sydney CDI to go ahead under the same conditions. More information will be provided when available. We will offering a comprehensive programme featuring all FEI competitions from Prix St Georges to Grand Prix, including equivalent, CDI-J & CDI-P, conducted as CDN (national competitions). The Kohnke’s Own NSW Young Horse Championships, EA Advanced and Para-Equestrian competitions will also be included. Competitors from all around Australia are always keen to have the opportunity to compete at SIEC during the Sydney CDI and we anticipate that the Sydney CD-Lite will prove just as enticing with over $30,000 in prize money plus prizes and trophy rugs. Running for three-and-a-half days from Wednesday 27, to Saturday 30 April 2022, there is also an educational workshop for judges and riders planned for Sunday 1 May. Australia’s top judges will officiate, and if border restrictions allow, New Zealand judges will join the panel. Riders and owners planning to enter FEI sanctioned competitions, e.g. the CDI3* Grand Prix, CDI-U25, CDI-Y are reminded that riders and horses need to be currently registered with the FEI and horses must have either an FEI Passport or Recognition Card. More information and links to the relevant forms [click here]. More information regarding a new FEI HorseApp (FEI Vet. Regs 2022) will be advised in the New Year. FEI registration and passports are not required for riders/horses entering other competitions (including FEI competitions) at this event. Qualifications for this event will apply. Below is a guide to be confirmed in the schedule. Freestyles results are not accepted. Consideration will be given for riders with only one performance in CDN competitions due to cancelled events. CDI competitions will need approval from the EADC. - CDI3* GP: Two performances of 63% or higher in a Grand Prix competition; - CDI 25: Two performance of 60% or higher at Intermediate A or B, Intermediate II or GP/ U25 GP level; - CDI Y: One performance of 60% or higher at FEI Small Tour level or FEI YR individual or Team test. - CDN GP: One performance of 60% or higher in a Grand Prix competition. - CDN J: One performance of 60% or higher at EA Medium level or above. - CDN P: One performance of 60% or higher at EA Elem level or above including FEI Pony competitions. - Advanced: One performance of at least 60% or higher at Advanced level; - CDN PSG, Int I & Int II: One performance of at least 60% or higher at the respective level; - CDN Inter A and B: One performance of at least 60% at Intermediate A or B; - Young Horse/Pony: One performance of 6.5 (65%) or higher in a Young Horse qualifier. information.
