Click here NOVEL CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK This Provider Alert concerns the outbreak of a respiratory illness caused by novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) first identified in Wuhan, Hubei province in China. The World Health Organisation has now declared the coronavirus as a public health emergency of international concern. The Australian Government Department of Health (the Department) has prepared information and resources to help prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), including information about people who may be most at risk. Providers should consider the Health information in relation to both their participants and workers. The Department also provides regular updates about this virus and it is strongly recommended that you check these. Details about symptoms, what to do if someone becomes unwell and suspects they may have symptoms of coronavirus, and precautions you can take to help prevent the spread of the virus, can be found on the Department’s website.
