Health Care Provider Action
- If you cannot immunize your patients facing suspension before March 23, please:
- Book them into the earliest appointment you have available
- Instruct these families to call Public Health at 905-688-8248 or 1-888-505-6074 ext. 7425 with their appointment details
- Although students 4 to 6 years of age will not face suspension this year, it is just as important for them to stay up to date with their immunizations
- Use The Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA): Guide for Health Care Providers as a quick reference
- Remind families that they are responsible for reporting vaccines to Public Health
