Visit Gencoa at PSE 2018
Gencoa will participate at next week's International Conference on Plasma Surface Engineering, which is being held in its regular location of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the south of Germany.
Starting on September 17, the conference will include a presentation on the use of Optix for the monitoring of ALD processes by Dr Joseph Brindley, who is also among the authors of a paper being presented by Oleg Zabeida of Polytechnique Montreal.
During the poster sessions, Oihane Hernandez-Rodriguez and Dr Heqing Li will each present a poster, with the respective topics covering work in the field of antimicrobial coatings, and development of ion sources for novel applications.
Full details of all talks and poster presentations involving work by Gencoa are as follows:
OR0101: Diagnostics and Monitoring of Thermal and Plasma Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition of Titanium Nitride (Oleg Zabeida)
OR0503: A remote plasma spectroscopy based method for monitoring of Atomic Layer Deposition processes (Joe Brindley)
OR2406: HiPIMS voltage reversal: widening the process window - tailoring the coating properties (Ambiorn Wennberg)
PO1025: High Efficiency Antimicrobial Coatings for Infection Control Applications (Oihane Hernandez-Rodriguez)
PO2025: Enhanced ion assistance during the deposition of hard metal nitrides with HiPIMS voltage reversal (Ivan Fernandez)
PO4037: Development of Ion Source for Novel Applications (Heqing Li)
Gencoa will display products at the accompanying exhibition being held on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th September.
Situated alongside local agents Beamtec on stand 41, the exhibit will include a live demo of Optix and Speedflo, with a demonstration to show feedback control of oxygen partial pressure using the Optix sensor and Speedflo feedback controller. There will also be a demonstration of alcohol detection using Optix to identify drinks based on alcoholic content.
