OCTOBER 2017:
YOU'RE INVITED TO EXPLORE U!
Thank you for your amazing support! With your help, we were able to launch a campaign that seeks to restore love, peace, compassion, solidarity and humanity, entitled allin4humanity, which we hope to make a small change through one high school initiative. Also, we launched a new program entitled EXPLORE U, offering ADULT women, age 21 and older, an opportunity to intentionally explore who they are by design by helping explore the creative activities and outlets that may cause them to engage life more fully!
Additionally, we partnered with Upper Dublin's school district to give young women a motivational charge and a lifetime experience to hear from Former First Lady Michelle Obama at the PA Conference for Women, served as an invited table host for Temple University's Student Etiquette Dinner and attended Penn State Abington's launch of a Sister2Sister Initiative, of which I Choose To Win was invited to support. Up next are a series of workshops within EXPLORE U! Check out the menu of workshops listed below.
OCT. 15TH 2-5 PM | SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
The cost is $35 for the song writing workshop ONLY, but $55 for the songwriting AND recording session. If you write poetry, rhymes or think in lyrics, there may be a song in you. Join us. Welcome Niyah! Our Newest Intern
Niyah H., a senior at Martin Luther King High School in Philadelphia, PA chose to do her senior project on the topic of young women and body image issues. She reached out to I Choose To Win to partner with her on mission to explore this topic and create a campaign to promote self-love and acceptance aligned with I Choose To Win's campaign entitled, "Unapologetically ME!"
Trip to See and Hear Michelle Obama
Founder of I Choose to Win, served as a volunteer chaperone for a group of young women part of Upper Dublin School District’s Connections program to hear from Former First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2017 PA Conference for Women.
Explore U! Photo Walk
Led by a professional, Jen Strickland, a group of novice photographers took a tour of Graffiti Park in Phila, PA. to capture a unique setting and share their experience from their creative lens and perspective. It was a fun and interesting way to connect with one another, face our fear of heights and learn more about ourselves.

Empowered Uth Gearing up for 2018!
A small group of teenage young women offered insight on ways to reach their peers with a message of self-love, female unity and creative expression for 2018 programming. Then, one brave teen choreographed a dance and taught it to the rest of us in attendance.
We give God the glory for the lives we lead & the impact we have when we understand that in HIM, we are enough, significant and powerful. In life, we are women who win!

HELP NEEDED: Seeking Interns and Volunteers
If you are interesting in supporting the programming and message development for I Choose To Win, please join our team. We have a new need for volunteer or college credit-interns with the following skills: Videography, Adobe Creative Suite, Writing, Content Development and Management and Personalities. We also need donations of space to significantly reduce costs for programming. Click here to apply.
