Carolyn Chandler-Hill Appointed Permanent Niagara EMS Deputy Chief

Following a fulsome recruitment process, Niagara Emergency Medical Services (Niagara EMS) is pleased to announce that Carolyn Chandler-Hill has been appointed as the permanent Deputy Chief / Associate Director, Emergency Medical Services at Niagara Region, effective January 5, 2026.   

With more than 17 years of progressive experience in paramedicine, including more than seven years in operational leadership within Niagara EMS, Chandler-Hill has been serving as Commander of Operations at Niagara EMS for the past two years. She brings tremendous strategic insight and people-centered leadership with her to this role.

"Her commitment to the work of Niagara EMS, and the people who work here is unparalleled. I look forward to working with her in this new position to serve the residents of Niagara." 

In her new role as Deputy Chief of Operations, Chandler-Hill will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the daily operations of both Land Ambulance and Communications ensuring excellence in service delivery to the citizens and visitors of Niagara.
