SH73 Arthur's Pass (Mingha Bluff realignment)
Some resurfacing work on the Mingha Bluff realignment will occur in coming months. We apologise to regular commuters and want to thank everyone for continuing to slow down around road crews.
The Mingha Bluff realignment project involves realigning and widening a 5km section of SH73 to provide a safer and more reliable route. The project has taken longer than expected due to wet weather, challenges in constructing the work in an alpine topography and need for resurfacing, so we wish to thank all commuters for their patience. Temporary speed limits will remain in place while this work occurs.
