We continue to pray for Brandon Bernard, the Seventh-day Adventist 40-year-old awaiting execution in a few hours, December 10, 12:01 AM. Thank you for joining the many who are claiming Proverbs 21:1 on behalf of both this process and this young man. The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists has posted this statement on its website: Members in North America Asked to Pray Regarding Adventist on Death Row in Indiana.

When I saw Heidi Leets posting on Facebook about the fun she is having with her family this December, I was instantly intrigued and inspired. Heidi and her husband, Josh, have masterminded 25 family
experiences to do each day leading up to Christmas. She says she was inspired to start doing this eleven years ago from an article she spotted in Family Fun magazine.

Neighbor to Neighbor Helps
At Neighbor to Neighbor, we've had a whirlwind year. Our brand new Thrift Store enjoyed a successful opening at the beginning of November, thanks to our dedicated volunteers and wonderful patrons. Sunday, November 22nd, was poised to be our grand dedication service. Restrictions on indoor gatherings had just been issued, so sadly the event was not as grand as initially anticipated.

Here we are, at another Christmas season. However, this 2020 Christmas is not like any other Christmas before. Did you notice that the lights and decorations are going up earlier this year? It seems that many people are tired of the gloom and discouragement this pandemic has caused. To encourage each other through this challenging and physically-distanced holiday season, the Pioneer Women’s Ministry team is delighted to share with you a moment of light each day until Christmas.
