NZCT Chamber Music Contest Senior winner: Benjamin Sneyd-Utting, Wellington - Toroa Rising / Piwakawaka Dancing (for string quintet) The Big Sing This year’s adjudicator, Chris Artley, said: “I was most impressed by the very high standard of entries, which covered a wide range of musical styles. -- It was heartening to see that the composers have clearly been involved in choral singing and had a good understanding of what works for the voice.” The Big Sing Finale takes place in Auckland 24-26 August.
