EVENTING IN ARGENTINA

Jill Sinclair holds qualifications as an FEI Eventing 3*/4* Judge and L1 Steward; EA Dressage B Level Judge and Judge Mentor as well as both an EA Dressage L2/General L1 Coach and Coach Educator. She has spent a few weeks in Argentina officiating on the Buenos Aires Three Day Event whilst her husband, Geoff Sinclair - one of Australia's most experienced and respected Eventing Officials - was Course Director at the FEI Seminar. Here she shares her story with us...

FEI DRESSAGE STEWARDS

Good numbers for both Promotion to FEI and Refresher courses have been received for the Boneo seminar running alongside the Martin Collins Australian Dressage Championships from 19-22 October.

Elisabeth Williams (USA) is the Course Director with EA’s Dressage Steward General Cathie Drury-Klein assisting.

FEI EVENTING OFFICIALS

Forms for FEI Application for Transfer of Eventing Officials - 2017 (promotion) are due into the FEI by the 1st November.

If you have attended a 2017 course for FEI promotion, the EA office will be in contact with you prior to early October to advise that your application has been submitted. If you have not been emailed by this time, please contact Whitney or Di.

THE COUNT DOWN IS ON

FEI VETERINARY COURSE

An Endurance Vet course was held in Brisbane on the 29-30 July with Dr Brian Sheahan, the Course Director, flying in hours before the course commenced from an overseas appointment. Amazing effort Brian! This course offered a chance for both Promotion and Maintenance. Congratulations to the following course attendees:

Dr Joan Deetman – Promotion to 3* EVT/EOV
Dr Narelle Cribb – Promotion to 4* EOV

FEI JUMPING JUDGE

HOT NEWS – The FEI have approved a Refresher, L2 and L3 promotion with Stephen Ellenbrauch in December 2017.

John Valance will be assisting with the L3 Course Design component.
